In the early 1880s, Billmeyer & Small built a multitude of 24' boxcars for the fledgling D&RG. These cars were rated at 20ton capacity and made their way onto many other early Colorado railroads including the RGS and Silverton railroads. Designed directly from the actual B&S blueprints, these cars are the last word in accuracy and fidelity. We recommend using our "LBS-1 D&RG 10t archbar trucks" with these kits.
